Mr. Suzuki worked as an Air Traffic Control Engineer for the Ministry of Transportation (now the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) for about 12 years. He passed the patent attorney examination in 1989. After retiring from the Ministry of Transportation in June 1990, he worked for a major patent firm in Tokyo, he established Suzuki & Company in 1992.

He is currently a member of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association (JAPA). He has served as a permanent member, chairman of the Software Committee (1997), project manager of the IP Management Consulting Committee, director of the IP Value Evaluation Committee, lecturer on patent specifications for members of training institutes (7 years), member of the steering committee of the Japan Intellectual Property Support Center (participating in events organized by local governments, etc.).
Taught intellectual property-related courses at a university and graduate school for seven years.
Member of the steering committee of the Intellectual Property Management Center (intellectual property management consulting, etc.).
Expert member of the Japan Intellectual Property Arbitration Center (jointly operated by the Japan Federation of Bar Associations and the Japan Patent Attorneys Association).

He worked in research and development and patent management at a major precision machinery manufacturer.
Worked as a securities analyst (IT, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, etc.) at KOKUSAI Securities. Served as Head of Business Analysis Office and Head of Investment Banking Research at Mitsubishi UFJ Securities and Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities. Engaged in numerous equity financings, M&As, and IPOs of IT and advanced technology venture companies. After working for a Corporate Venture Capital of a listed bio-venture company, he joined Suzuki & Company.

He contributes to the enhancement of corporate value of client companies by utilizing intellectual property through the formulation and implementation of IP management strategies by utilizing his experience as an analyst at securities and investment banks and his knowledge as an intellectual property specialist (patent attorney), Corporate governance, IR, management consulting, IP finance support in collaboration with financial institutions, etc.
